She charged me $3000 and disappeared. She's a con artist!

I was introduced to Danielle by a friend and we met to discuss transferring my business into an S-Corp before the end of the year. Our meeting was on 12/26/2020. She indicated that we would be able to accomplish it no problem, we could back date it. She insured me it would be fine. I sent her the documents that she needed to proceed, all usernames/passwords on December 31. She's confident, charming, and actually a pleasure to be around. Well. I barely heard from her all of January. I sent her an email indicating we needed to change my Registered Agent, and she asked for my credit card information and did nothing with it. Time moves on, and long story short, I have all of her log in data on quickbooks, and the first time she even looked at my information on intuit was on February 1. Maybe that's SOP for accountants in the industry, so we'll shrug that one off. Well, she missed an appointment to discuss some very important matters. I needed to file 1099's to my employees, we needed to talk about the change to S-Corp, state sales/use tax, and we still didn't resolve the registered agent issue. Well, she missed a meeting, then another, because it was superbowl Sunday, and 4pm was apparently interfering with her social activities. Then she was about to miss a third meeting when I started to threaten legal action. She proceeds to have an hour long conversation about my account where she has no idea what's going on, and she can't complete a sentence without slurring or drifting into a completely different topic or idea. I fired her. She said that she has done her job and that she will not be refunding me any of my $3600 retainer. I would like to warn you about using her for your accounting services.
