Exceptionally discourteous. She is very unprofessional once she turns her back to you. Don’t waste your time.

She is a horrible person to work with she got us less then we should have gotten we even got that proven with another tax person she had an attitude the whole time and then she put in the wrong routing number for our tax refund once we called to ask she had an attitude told us I don’t know when you will get it I’m not IRS and hung up will never go back to her I would definitely tell everyone stay away

This man will not provide W2 to client's employees in a timely fashion. Every year for the last 5 years he has always missed the legal deadline to provide the documents. This year, it is April 1st and he still not sent the W2. DO NOT USE. Every time you speak with him he tells you he will send it today but it never happens. He deservers less than ZERO STARS.

Very unprofessional and rude. Did my taxes then refused to take my call regarding the taxes he prepared.

I attempted to have my taxes done by Meier Consulting last month. When I submitted my return, I did fail to include 2 forms. Also when my return was completed, Meier Consulting also failed to include a 1099 form that I did submit with all of the initial forms. I tried reaching out to them via phone, voicemail, and email multiple times, and they are not good at all about getting back with you. About 2 weeks after submitting the 2 forms that I failed to include initially for them to file an amended return, I was finally advised that the return was now complete. Again the return was not completed correctly. I again reached out to them multiple times requesting a full refund, as at this point I was completely frustrated at the lack of communication on their part and the poor service I had received from them. At that point, they did agree to mail me a check for a full refund. After about 2 weeks, I emailed them again because I had not received the refund check. I was then lied to by Kurt Meier when he told me that the check had been mailed 2 weeks prior. About 5 days later, I received the refund check. At this point I had already filed a complaint with the Better Business Bureau because of the lack of communication on their part. I did find it interesting though that the envelope containing the refund check I received was postmarked days before I received it. If he had actually mailed the check when he told me he did, the post marked date would have been about 2 weeks prior. Also, I am definitely not a proponent of mask wearing. But outside his business, there is a sign saying that masks are required inside the business. But as we walked up to enter his business pick up our tax return, Kurt greeted us at the door and said we could take off our masks, that he only has that sign out front to please "Daddy DeWine". Not a great look, if you ask me. So if its not clear enough already, I definitely do NOT recommend Kurt Meier or Meier consulting at all. I don't appreciate being lied to, and receiving poor service.

Michelle does not know anything about Allocation form 8962 Part IV. She messed up my taxes, and refused to fix it. The little she managed to do, was because I taught her how to. The lady has a really bad temper, she scream to the clients and get upset extremely easily for any reason, also she is extremely impolite. She is a complete mess. I strongly advise anybody reading this to stay far, far away from her tax practice. She charged me $120 for some wrong taxes. Save your money and your time. I would give her a 0 if I could.

DO NOT HIRE THIS GUY!!! I have hired Jaime Aguayo AKA ( Beachcomber Tax and Planning ) for my 2018-2019 Personal and 2019 Business back in September 2020.. None of my tax returns been received by IRS, tried to reach him out least 4 months via SMS, EMAIL, Phone Calls, he did not return any of my contacts!! Paid $800 for his un-finished services!! things were up in the air, couldn't do/receive any stimulus checks and other personal applications without tax filings!! I had to go to HNR Block to refile all returns that Jaime did not file (electronically- mail ) I don't really know what was his intention but this is no different than SCAM. He also has no Registered business name in the State of CA database as Beach Comber Tax and Planning. I wish I had known and do my research before hiring Jaime!! I am filing legal complaints about him and his businesses!!

I did taxes with Tina for two years 2017 and 2018. Both times I got audited and I had to pay $2600 for 2018 and $3300 for 2017. You would question why I went back to her second time for taxes. I received audit for 2018 in 2020 and 2017 in 2021 so when I went back I didn’t know. Both time she made mistake but when I approached her for help she was ignoring my texts or phone calls. Then I called from my friends phone and when she heard it was me she yelled “ Just Pay it, nothing I can do about “ and hang up. Please don’t go to her. I would not recommend her to anybody. Horrible experience.

Horrible! I had to fight to reimbursement for the initial IRS fines. Mistake after mistake. I got another one today because she paid my taxes late in Q2, 2020 after not filing my forms. Do not use this company, buyer beware!

I wish I could give a 0 star rating. I did my taxes with Ju Yoon in the past, thus contacted him again this year. He was VERY slow with his response. Sent him a email on 3/11 and got a reply on 3/15 saying he is TOO BUSY right now and will respond in a day or two. No reply came back so sent him a follow up email on 3/19 and STILL NO REPONSE. Sent another follow-up email at end of March but STILL WAITING for a response. Please read this comment and utilize another CPA.

Mr. Carlos Zamora has been preparing my joint tax returns for my spouse and my self for several years. In January, 2020 my spouse filed for divorce. ZAMORA'S SERVICES assisted my spouse with filling divorce petition to court. The divorce Petition was filed before Mr. Zamora prepared, and e-filed my joint tax return without my consent, or signature. HIS FIRM KNOWING THAT MY MARRIAGE WAS IN PROCESS OF DIVORCE, WAS PART ALONG WITH MY SPOUSE IN FILLING MY JOINT TAX RETURN, AND CHANGING DIRECT DEPOSIT FROM MY JOINT BANK ACCOUNT WITH MY SPOUSE, TO HER PERSONAL BANK ACCOUNT. WICH I HAVE NO ACCESS TO.. THEY CHARGED ME $20 FOR A COPY OF TAX FROM FILED. WHICH HE STATES THAT HE INTERVIEWED MYSELF TO GET ALL INFORMATION. I HAVEN'T STEPPED IN HIS BUSINESS OR TALK TO ANYONE IN HIS FIRM FOR FIVE YEARS. WHAT THEY DID ISN'T RIGHT. THIS IS SOMETHING EVERYONE SHOULD KNOW. Don't trust them.

Mr Atikur Rahman was my to-go tax accountant. Until 2020 when I filed my 2019 taxes. Then I had to change to someone but then again had even a worse experience. So I contacted Mr Atikur Rahman to file my 2019 taxes. So for covid restrictions I was told to send my w2s through email. And he asked me to send him his payment through the app Zelle (I have the receipt). Then tried calling him alotta times and I got a hold of him and I asked him that if he filed my taxes and if not I would like the refund , so I can go someplace else. Then Mr Atikur replied "if you want I'll refund twice the money back you gave me". Also he said " why you speak to elder like this?" I replied I wasn't being rude or neither I didn't say anything wrong I replied "I just want my taxes filed or money back please that's all I ask for". Atikur Rahmans response was very unprofessional and personal . After sending my w2s and the payment I tried contacting Mr Atikur again by phone and text several times. All he replied that was "be patient" "working" through text. (I have the texts as well). Then he Didn't gave me no updates what was going on or that he filed my taxes or not. Then he never bother contacting or refunding the service pay. And then after 10 days he replied with a screenshot how he wasn't able to file my taxes because it was already submitted by someone else. (I got that screenshot too) . Then after I even requested my money back through the Zelle app for service pay of 60$ I paid him through the app. But never responded back. I wouldn't recommend Mr Atikur to anyone.

This woman was awful to me and my family. She treated us like we were trash. I would not recommend her at all.

I filed my 2019 taxes with Debnath when I was in ny. t's been a year I have not received my Federal taxes. Kept me hanging for a year.And most of the time when I called, his wife picked up his phone and used to say that he wasn't available. Then after several times I called him and sent him a warning text that I was going to complain he called then I asked Debnath that where was my refund, why haven't I received it yet?. Then he replied "what are you going to do?" and then I warned Mr Debnath that I was going to file a complain to the irs against him, then I was told to send an 1040 to irs by him. Then after somedays I received my state refund after sending an 1040 application. Federal refund didn't show up after that. So then he told me to send another 1040 but yet no updates from the irs so far. I've tried calling the irs, the automated system cuts off my phone when I put the total amount. Says it's wrong. Mr Debnath showed no credibility and effort in his profession. And now he tells me to wait for another month. So I had no other options but to file a complain. I experienced a bad twice by tax preparer in the same year. I wish no one to got through the same issues like me again and get bad service and irs take proper actions. Thank you

Working with Barry Markowitz will be the worse decision that you can take for your business or individual tax preparation. Working with him tuned to be a nightmare through his unresponsiveness, detrimental advice, unprofessional financial decisions, an overall saga of malpractice that caused us unbelievable financial loss. And if you dare asking anything - he will not hesitate to lie in order to cover his posterior. A despicable human being.

This company most be giving the reviewers something free!! Christian, the owner is such a condescending, antagonist bully! My two minute interaction with him had allowed me to understand that a roach is more valuable than this arrogant, racist narcissistic person! This company’s lack of follow up, poor judgment and advise will end up costing me thousands of dollars. I was missed guided and missed informed, Christian himself, straight out told me that he is an accountant not an IRS expert..?????? so how are they promoting and providing income taxes filling services? Isn’t that misrepresentation? This entire company should be investigated, I will be filing a formal written complaint with: BOA (Florida Board of Accountancy), IRS and BBB. Hope this review will help others come out and share their negative experience with this company and his “CEO” Christian.

(Racist) I would like to share my experience with Mr. Brian Gilpin. My wife gave him a call for some tax advice today 3/22 he answered the phone with a very cocky tone. She had to pass the phone over to me because she couldn’t deal with him. I noticed a huge change in his voice when he asked for her first and last name and she gave him her name which is a Hispanic last name. When I took over the phone call he asked me how long we have been in business for And said your wife mentioned you guys owe $30,000 in taxes from last year. He then asked me, “Why don’t you guys just pay it then?” And he said this in a very smart sarcastic tone. I said, “well we are in the process of arranging a payment plan with the IRS. And Brian said “ figures, you’re “KIND” are always behind on their taxes. It’s a shame that you cannot pay your taxes. I was shocked to hear what I was hearing? We are in 2021 and it’s sad to see we are still dealing with so much racism from so-called business professionals in our community that feel superior over other individuals with different skin color or nationality. I asked him, “excuse me?” And he still had the audacity to clarify himself by saying “I have lots of Hispanic Latino clientele and the majority of them on average are behind on their taxes. It’s a shame! I am not trying to be racist or anything but I’m just speaking facts” I honestly just needed to hang up the phone at that point. It was disgusting. My jaw dropped and my heart begin racing. I did not want to lose it on him. I figured I would just take the appropriate route by reporting him to all available resources, The BBB, NASBA, YELP, Google, Clutch.CO, whitepages, CPA Directory.com etc For a business professional like this to be serving the public is beyond me. I do not understand how someone like this could even get licensed in the state of California. When you’re dealing with and serving the public you should not be making racist or prejudice remarks or opinions or viewpoints when dealing with clientele in the marketplace. It is extremely offensive and not right. I hope that anyone that comes across this review can come forward and open up to share their experiences with Brian as well because his license should be revoked as a practicing CPA in the state of California. I am very sure if he came off this way to us after a 30 second conversation over the phone. I can only imagine what else he must say to his existing clientele with who he deals with on a daily basis. Situations like these in our community should always be escalated and handled correctly by reporting it to the appropriate agencies. I am taking the roll in doing the right thing and reporting Brian to the state of California. Finally got in touch with Ms. Robles and she was as unhelpful as possible. She called me from a blocked number. Left me a message saying to call her back. And when I called her office, she said to disregard her call because she couldn't remember why she called me and refused to do any investigation to try and remind herself. I don't understand how someone in a position of power can treat people this way.

I used Jessica in 2018 and 2019 never received a return. She refuses to return or answer calls and messages. Several others I know used her and had to amend their returns. I did not get any of my paperwork from her making it almost impossible for anyone to help me figure out what she did wrong. Very unprofessional. It’s good as long as it’s good and when it’s not it’s NOT!!! I don’t recommend this service.
