Client Reviews of Lloyd R. Boucher, EA

I was looking for a new CPA becuase my current one is not very proactive and i've incurred a lot of tax penalites. Boucher came by my work place and sounded like he new what he was doing so i hired him before 2020 year end. I told him i needed some advice on prepaying my taxes since my business had a very good year. He talked around in cirlces and asked me to pay him $899 for a "reasonable compensation analysis" which basically advises me to run my business like i work for a large corporation so i don't get audited. This is cleary not what i was looking for. No small business wants to loose its numerous deductions and expenses that lower the tax liability. Cleary this strategy was not for me and this analysis has no value to my business. But Boucher feels he is entittle to the money and wound not refund me even when told him i would settle for $600. Stay away from this guy he is a crook. I received no useable advice for my $899.
