I paid in advance for my taxes to be prepared for multiple tax years, and provided my bank info for e-filing of the current year. Not only was my refund deposited into another bank and a transfer made to my bank less $650, my taxes were audited and adjusted which resulting in owing approximately $5000. I have made multiple attempts to contact Mr. Simon and he seemed to be trying to assist and now all communication has stopped and I’m stuck with a huge tax bill. My state taxes were not filed at all and I was not sent a completed return for any of the years filed and therefore I don’t know where to start in resolving the issue. I will be reporting this to the IRS and my friend who was also scammed and received what he sent of her refund also will be doing so as well.
