This man is a scammer took my information and acted like he was going to file my taxes well once I paid him completely stopped replying and answering texts and calls. It’s been 3 months since he stole my money and hasn’t responded

I contacted Ben in September of 2024 after my family recommended him. I explained my situation and discussed what I needed done (2022-2024 1040's..). After a week I was finally able to get all of my documents over to him, which he returned my estimate to me within 3 days. After reviewing the estimates, I decided to continue with filing (he chose to mail mine in). We discussed my payment options, which I decided to pay 1/2 up front and the remaining 1/2 once I received my returns. A few weeks went by and I realized I had not received anything in my email as he stated I would. I reached out and it took him almost 3 weeks to finally get back with me. (This is now October 2024.) Fast forward to December 2024, I have reached out on several occasions (text, email & phone call) but have gotten ZERO response. At this point I am out the money I paid for services and still have not had my returns filed. If I could give 0 stars, I would. There is NO communication, just theft.

I paid Benjamin to file my tax return and he never did. He also has never responded to over 30 attempts to contact him. I paid him and never heard from him again. Would strongly discourage anyone from using him
