Client Reviews of Michael Halberstadt, EA

Mr. Halberstadt was my investment advisor circa 1999 to 2010. I called him about 2 weeks before the banking meltdown which caused the recession and told him that I'd spoken with a friend who said that "credit default swaps" that banks were doing were going to wreak financial havoc on the US. I asked Michael what he thought. He yelled at me and said something to the effect of "Don't you trust me?!?" and intimidated me into leaving my investments as-is. A couple of months later they'd lost 50% of their value. I'm being audited by the IRS and as I go through my financial records both pre-and post Mr. Halberstadt's involvement and I realized I did a far better job managing my finances than he ever did. I'm still doing a slow boil over this, as you can probably tell by this review. Thanks Michael. I hope you sleep well at night. #not
