Client Reviews of Bruce K. Bushman

I hired Bruce K. Bushman to help me get caught up on my books when I started using freelancers for my business. Instead, he caused financial harm to my company. I was mainly annoyed because 35 days went by without one single update from him, but now that I've gone to a REAL professional for my books, it has become apparent that Bruce Bushman either ripped me off, or is so incompetent that he has no right to work in this business. His figures were incorrect by THOUSANDS of dollars, despite my meticulous tracking of all money in and out of my company. He had an extensive data sheet that explained where everything came from and where everything went, and he still couldn't figure it out. Also, he promised to get the 1099s out for my freelancers on a Monday, and I didn't even hear from him until that Thursday, at which point he told me that he would need another week. He then told me that I didn't really need to send out 1099s, just let them know the numbers (which were incorrect). This faulty advice led to me receiving a fine from the IRS. When I called him on these issues, he responded by saying that he had been working nine hour days at his other job. So what? First off, nine hours? Really? Grow a backbone, Bruce. Secondly, if you don't have time to do a job, DON'T TAKE THE JOB! Also, now that I've worked with a real accountant, I know that Bruce also GROSSLY overcharges for his incompetent work. Bruce K. Bushman is Unprofessional, unskilled, and a detriment to your business. I proudly stand by my review and I will gladly provide emails which illustrate the facts presented here in an effort to prevent anyone else from being taken advantage of as I was.
