I wrote a review and it was deleted which really aggravates me considering it was written to assist those who may be looking to have their taxes prepared - they should have some warning. Deborah had prepared our taxes for many years without issue and then, 2012 happened when she was provided a valid tax deduction for funds invested in an IRA which she deliberately refused to enter because she didn't believe it was an IRA (even with paperwork). Then, 2013 happened and we made the mistake of handing over all of our information, receipts, breakdowns and leaving her to review and prepare without us sitting there with her to monitor her closely. Unfortunately, after more than 20 phone calls on our end leaving message after message with unreturned calls on her end, she finally returned our call only to tell us ON APRIL 13th that the taxes were done but we would not have the opportunity to review as she SENT THEM IN without our review or signatures! I was livid! Not only did she send them in without our signatures, she sent them without our review or approval AND because they were incorrect, we ended up paying thousands of dollars in taxes because of valid deductions she didn't record. The taxes had to be re-done, refiled and resubmitted and as it turns out we were OWED money. We are still owed money because we haven't received a refund from the government. All because Deborah's company and her tax preparations were inaccurate and ill prepared. Instead of charging us $400 a year to sit and listen to you ramble about the President, why don't you refund us my money AND reimburse me the thousands of dollars you cost us! Do yourselves a favor and go anywhere but here! ANYWHERE!
