We liked him at first and trusted him to do our taxes for the past few years, but we learned the hard way to steer clear of Mike Christensen. He failed to report income listed in source documents we gave him and as a result we owe over $1,800 to the IRS. When we ontacted him to request a response and explanation for the error, after promising to get back to us “in a day” he did not respond until we called him an additional two times and left messages over the following 3 days. He paid the $68 in interest but did not refund his $550 fee we paid him to file our taxes. Now we are having to pay a competent tax preparer to double check his previous work for our own peace of mind. We wish we had not been referred to him by someone we trust; this person has been notified of the problem and warned about his error. We also wish we had checked this website for the other negative review. Everyone makes mistakes, but this one was unacceptable to us and we have lost all confidence in him as a result.

Oh my God. This guy really screwed up my tax return and I'm going to have to pay someone else to re-do it. The return is such a mess. I was expecting to pay only $4,000 on the April 18th deadline but instead had $16,873 deducted automatically from my savings account. Ouch! It makes zero sense. I wonder if this guy even went to school. He also doesn't return phone calls or emails for days. Do yourself a Big favor and do Not use this guy.
