My experience working with mr. carter for the past two years has been horrific. He neglected to file my 2013 taxes (electronically) in a timely matter. According to the IRS he, did not attempt to file them until Aug 2013 and then again in Nov 2013. They were not accepted until 2014. My 2014 were not rejected as well. The issue was my son's SSN was entered in incorrectly for both years even though I gave the correct information. mr. carter assured me that he was handling and asking for an abatement on my behalf. However, this did not happen. I, myself, spent countless hours on the phone with the IRS to rectify this. I asked mr. carter to pay my penalty for not filing for one year; the 2013. Although I have a penalty for year 2014 as well I should have found a different tax preparer. HIs exact words were " You have to trust the process.. I am working on it." He even blamed me; as if I was the one that entered in the information and filed it myself. As the professional, he knew the day he attempted to file that it was rejected, however he had collected his fees, so what did he care? Mr. Carter is a snake, the Devil himself and I hope that he knows that Karma is real. I wish I could give a negative star.
