THE WORST TAX PREPARATION I'VE EVER EXPERIENCED! I went in on February 13, 2024 to get my taxes done. 21 days later I still did't receive my return so I contacted the IRS to check the status. They informed me that "NO TAXES WERE EVER FILED". I called Jason to find out what was going on and he said "I might have forgotten to hit the submit button." I asked for a refund of $250 for the filing fee. He told me "I will not issue a refund because there is no guarantee that my return needs to be filed when I come in".Tax preparation is a time sensitive process for people filing and he completely neglected this. Keep in mind, there was ZERO communication of him letting me know anything. He made a mistake and then failed to hold accountability for his mistake. My return was just sitting there not submitted, and he said it wasn't his fault...The day I complained is the day he finally sent it out which tells you clearly it was his fault. I will be filing a formal complaint with the Better Business Bureau. This experience was very disheartening as someone who wanted to support Black business over the typical HR Block. DO NOT USE THIS SERVICE! Its one thing to make a mistake, but when you complete neglect any accountability for your actions it becomes unacceptable.

I’d leave no stars if possible, this guy is the worst in the business , he takes people money and don’t provide proper services, I suggest staying away and reporting this garbage to every agency possible

I have been going to Butler insurance for the past couple years and can honestly say I will never go anywhere else. Rick is the nicest guy you will ever meet and the entire office staff are incredible people. They take the time to answer any questions you may have and I am blessed that I found their office. I recommend Butler Insurance 100%.

Grossly overcharged me. i asked him how much my extremely simple tax return would be (no dependents, single) and he said anywhere from 60.00 to 130.00 depending. So I was stupid and thought mine would be the 60 because it is so simple. NOPE. He charged me the full 130.00 for a return that I then did myself on TaxAct to compare. It took me 10 minutes for the same result. Also, he gave me printouts in lieu of doing this electronically, as it is the year of 2024, and the copies were illegible in many spots. Never Again.

I have been using their service for a few years now. Prompt replies, constant communication and clear on what they need.

This was our first time doing our taxes with Mrs. Flemister She was thorough and very professional from beginning to end. She took her time to walk us through the process and the portal used is very easy to navigate. I would recommend her services as a tax preparer and look forward to working with her again next year.

Tatiana tackled issues that other CPAs ran from (Storm Sandy) because it was over their heads and involved Insurance Law and Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac rules. Tatiana made partner in a well known firm and still had time to advise her clients,

I am not satisfied with Mr. Renel Dorlis, after a 10 year buisness relationship, I'm hurt to report what has taken place using his services for my 2022-2023 tax filing. After not receiving my 2022 tax return due to IPPIN number not being entered incorrectly I was hoping to file both 2022 and 2023 taxes together with Mr. Dorlis but sadly after agreeing to file them he began to evade and ignore my calls and text messages. After being paitant for weeks I finally decided to cut buisness ties with him not knowing if my taxes was filed or not because he refused to release that information to me. After taking multiple trips to his office to no avail I finally got law enforcement involved which made him comply with giving me back all of my 2023 tax documents which he reluctantly gave back stating he needed to keep them for records although I told him he no longer had permission to file it. I asked him about 2022 documents which lied about stating he filed the tax return days prior as with law enforcement and Coligues present but because communication was via cell phone as he refused to visit his office it gave him time to submit and forge my wife and I e signature without our permission or knowledge that same day 02/27/24 but on documents he claimed we signed on 02/06/24 although we did not reach out nor had contact with him until 02/17/24. Now he refuses to give me copies my 2022 tax return documents and proceeds to charge $2000 for the service that I did not give permission for as well as falsify return in a way that I can't personally check IRS systems for update or status. I have proof of all claims that I'm making as he still failed to respond or send my requested documents I will persue legal actions with Mr. Renel Dorlis.

I've been in the Music Business for 30 yrs. In 2005 I had surgery & my tax guy was also in the hospital & had made a huge mistake on my tax return.. While i sat waiting for my surgery. I received a letter from IRS, stating i owe 60k, I was refrd by A fellow singer to Marie Duvernaye. Marie took over & did an amazing job. Im still using Mrs Marie!!! Shes still amazing & a perfectionist, shes up to date on all forms, and i had lots of traveling, multi state pays & receipts .. if she can bring my friend back from 7yr tax evasion, She's a miracle worker!! I love her & her energy!!

Mr. Buelow allowed his son to use his name and PIN to file our 2022 taxes. The financial information was entered incorrectly and Mr. Buelow was extremely rude and unprofessional to my wife when she called to investigate the misfiling. He refused to believe that his office made a mistake and that it was the government delaying the process. We are incurring penalties and fees while this situation is being reviewed by the IRS and waiting for a refund for overpayment. Mr. Buelow said he would charge us hundreds of dollars if we wanted him to review the "alleged issue".

Lisa is very knowledgeable and has been doing my taxes for the last 15 years!! I highly recommend her and know that she will help you with taxes and accounting related expenses.

I was referred to this tax preparer by a family member.. Just because its in a familiar area! She answers the phone and Just says Brittney but when i checked my tax papers it says tax preparer name Donnetta Smith.. she did not ask me how i wanted to file.. she did not ask me to check if my info was correct.. i brought my kids with me so it didnt dawn to me til afterwards.. she was not knowledgeable, and did not explain anything to me.. i gave her my id with my address and she still got it wrong she even changed the correct address to a incorrect address on my tax form!? I do not know why.. well when i realized after i already left, she just text me " i'll fix it in the system". But she never did! And never wrote me back it still had wrong info in her system! i kept asking for some type of clarification but she wouldnt respond! This lady just wants her money ! I will not be going back to her! Oh And she cost 500!
